The first thing people should realize is that losing weight at a rapid rate doesn’t give you a sexy body. It causes you to look bony and starved. Your skin will likely lose its color, and your hair and nails will be thin. It really won’t give you the look you are hoping for.

One of the most frustrating effects of trying to lose weight quick is that if you are not getting the nourishment you need, your body will go into starvation mode. Once this happens, your body slows down your metabolism, and you stop losing weight. If you eat any excess food, your body will immediately turn it into fat to fuel itself.
